The Holobiont 1
The Holobiont 1 is the first watch developed by the company. The watch is proudly designed in Chicago, USA, and crafted in China. In appreciation for the opportunity to work with a very skilled group on the other side of the world, the watch includes design elements that are inspired by China.
The 合 symbol represents unity and is used in the forming of words such as “cooperation” and “combine.” Paired with “Chinese made, USA designed” on the low end of the dial, it clearly states the watch’s origin and also hints at encouraging positive cooperation between both cultures and countries. Also inspired by China is the inclusion of the national colors of red and yellow. Furthermore, in the dark one finds a blue glow from the Super-LumiNova, thus giving the watch both the national colors of China and the red, white, and blue from the USA.
